As I sit here in a gloomy house with upwards of five straight rain-filled and gray days behind me, nothing short of a monthly box of wrestling goodies will make the day any better. Good news – that’s exactly what showed up today on my doorstep! Last month’s crate wasn’t one of my favorite ones, but as with any of these, a mid-line crate is better than most other wrestling crates I have tried. There is not a cohesive theme this month, which for better or worse makes it likely to have quite the assortment of items. I prefer the themed boxes generally, but this one has a few guys we haven’t seen before so that is intriguing. buckle in, lets see what we have in this box!

As with any of these boxes, some of the sales are going to charity, with this month’s selected cause being the Ernie Reyes Jr. Kidney Transplant fund. You may remember Reyes from many popular films including the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. When it was looking bad for Reyes, an unexpected miracle happened around last Christmas. FINALLY he was able to secure a new kidney and his future. Now he faces medical bills and living expenses that the Gofundme is designed to help out with.

REVIEW: Pro Wrestling Crate March 2022

For those new to these subscription crates, Pro Wrestling Crate usually packs in anywhere from 8 to 10 items every month – these include a guarantee of a Micro Brawler Figurine, two T-shirts, a lapel pin, and an autographed 8 by 10 photo. Usually there’s a couple of small additional items in every box making this well worth the money spent. I would recommend, if you can swing it, purchasing A six month or yearly subscription as you get a pretty hefty discount doing so. In the past, I have subscribed to a number of different boxes, generally not liking most of them to be honest, but the guys over at Pro Wrestling Tees always do a fine job of picking great items making this my favorite subscription box of them all. You can also get a double dose of crate action with AEW’s All Elite Crate as well.

REVIEW: Pro Wrestling Crate March 2022

Spoiler Card:

Shirts:

Both shirts are awesome this month! I LOVE the Eddie Kingston shirt, and the Kevin Nash design is probably one of the best shirts of his I’ve ever seen.

Autograph:

REVIEW: Pro Wrestling Crate March 2022

This month’s autograph is Buddy Matthews, fresh off of his introduction to AEW fans as a member of The House of Black. Matthews is one of those super-underrated guys that I hope to see have some amazing matches going forward. An autograph of him is going to look awesome in my collection.

Micro Brawler:

For the second time EVER, I am the proud recipient of a “chase” variant limited to 250 figures! The only difference between the chase and the regular figure is that the regular figure has black boots and trunks.

They Live Sunglasses:

I wear glasses so I can’t really wear these at all – bummer. That said, this is a cool item for both its simplicity and reference to one of the best movies of the entire 1980s!

Pin:

These pins with moving parts are always cool! This time it’s The Honky Tonk Man!

Comic Book:

As you can tell by some of my recent reviews, I dig these little mini one-shot comics by Headlocked Comics quite a bit. Stay tuned for a review! This time a story by Rob Van Dam is featured.

Sticker:

As always, not much to say about a sticker, but this time we get THREE of them! Not going to lie, these are probably the best stickers they’ve done.

Conclusion:

This crate seemed somewhat sparse, but made up for it with quality for sure. I can’t really use the sunglasses, but will wear the hell out of the shirts included as they both are top tier. The Micro Brawler, autograph, and basically everything else looks great this month ad I love the items that were picked. This was definitely one of the better ones. next month definitely looks interesting. I always try to figure out what the Micro Brawler will be, and I’m wondering if it will be Dirty Dango?
