An upcoming live professional Wrestling Show

Trailblazer Championship Wrestling hit a major milestone in the summer of 2024 when “Astonishing” Austin Mulitalo was crowned the inaugural Trailblazer Heavyweight Champion. Now, in 2025, it’s time for the women’s division to take center stage. Once again the ladies will be in the main event with “The Phoenix Princess” Aminah Belmont facing Skylar Sparks to crown the company’s first-ever Trailblazer Women’s Champion at Trailblazer RISE, coming to you live from the Trailblazer Arena in Gardner, Kansas! What better way to kick off Memorial Day weekend than by packing into one of my favorite wrestling venues in the area and going absolutely buck wild for some top-tier professional wrestling?
RISE will feature the long-awaited returns of several competitors, plus a notable new contender stepping up after a last-minute cancellation. This event is shaping up to be yet another standout show in what’s already been a year full of bangers from Trailblazer Championship Wrestling. As with most local shows, doors open at 6 PM, and the action gets underway at 7 PM sharp. I highly recommend arriving early – lines can get long, and you don’t want to miss a single moment. Now, let’s break down every match on the card and get that hype train rolling!

The main event of the evening is the long-awaited clash to crown the first-ever Trailblazer Women’s Champion – a high-stakes showdown between “The Phoenix Princess” Aminah Belmont and Skylar Sparks. This match has been building ever since Trailblazer Madness, when tensions erupted following Belmont’s hard-fought win over “The Outlaw” Sadie Belle. In the aftermath, Belmont took the mic and boldly declared that no one in Trailblazer was on her level. She hinted that she had nothing left to prove – and might even be leaving the company altogether. That’s when Skylar Sparks stormed down to the ring, cutting her off and reminding everyone that Aminah has never beaten her in singles competition. If Belmont truly believed there were no challengers left, Skylar was more than willing to prove her wrong – right then and there.
Chaos nearly erupted as the two had to be pulled apart by security. In the middle of the mayhem, Trailblazer management rushed to ringside and handed Miss Wendy an announcement: the Trailblazer Women’s Championship would be introduced, and the inaugural champion would be decided between Belmont and Sparks. And now, here we are. After months of anticipation, it all comes to a head this Saturday at Trailblazer Rise.
One can hope Skylar Sparks doesn’t fall into the same trap that so many other Trailblazer women have fallen into. When you’re up against Aminah Belmont, you have to fight fire with fire. Belmont has never been shy about bending, or outright breaking, the rules. We’ve all seen it: steel chairs, nunchucks, a bag full of baby powder – you name it. She’ll use anything at her disposal to gain the upper hand. Cheating isn’t a backup plan for Aminah; it’s part of her regular playbook. Skylar, on the other hand, was trained by the legendary Harley Race. And if there was ever a time to channel that no-nonsense, rough-and-tumble mindset he was known for, this is the match. Aminah doesn’t just try to beat her opponents, she tries to overwhelm and outlast them. A match against her isn’t a sprint. It’s a marathon. Skylar better be ready for the mind games, the shortcuts, and the chaos, because to leave Trailblazer RISE as champion, she’ll have to survive the storm that is Aminah Belmont.

It was also announced that Nixi XS will have something going on at Trailblazer RISE – though no official opponent has been named yet. As always with Nixi, that air of unpredictability is part of the package. Thankfully, Kansas City hasn’t had any major sports meltdowns lately (although my KC Mavericks are struggling a bit, hope she doesn’t have a Toledo Walleyes sweater!), so it’s hard to predict exactly what kind of chaos she might be channeling this time. All I know is this: whatever she’s got planned, it probably won’t be good – for anyone else involved.

Hot off a tough loss to Trailblazer Heavyweight Champion “Astonishing” Austin Mulitalo – and the brutal post-match beatdown that earned the champ a suspension, Luke Anthony is looking for redemption. But he’s walking straight into the eye of the storm this Saturday, as he’s set to face “The Unnatural Disaster” Salum Gust, one of the most volatile members of Dekin Cane’s sinister menagerie. Gust also suffered a high-profile loss at Trailblazer Madness, falling to The Wranglers in tag action. And if you’ve been to any Trailblazer event, you know one thing for sure: an angry Salum Gust is a dangerous Salum Gust. He’s had all spring to stew over that loss, and something tells me he’s ready to tear through his next opponent like an unwanted teddy bear.
Luke Anthony may be one of the most resilient competitors in Trailblazer. He holds wins over the likes of Salum’s stablemate Miracle Mike James, and he’s built a solid reputation for grit and heart. But he’s going to need every ounce of it here. Because if Dekin Cane shows up or any of his other tag-alongs at ringside, this match could quickly spiral into an uphill war.

“Rapid Delivery” Rory Fox makes his triumphant return to Trailblazer Championship Wrestling after a tough loss to Rocco the Barbarian last fall. This time around, he’s stepping back into the ring to face rising star “Handsome” Scott Hansen. Hansen may have come up short in his Trailblazer debut back in March, but he’s been making waves on the independent scene ever since, racking up wins and building serious momentum. Still, he’s about to square off with a man who has something like twenty-five years of experience under his belt – and that kind of ring savvy can’t be underestimated. This is a true clash of generations. Hansen brings speed, confidence, and youthful fire. Fox brings a veteran’s instincts, ring awareness, and the grit of someone who’s been through it all. You better believe that experience counts for something – and Rory Fox is looking to remind everyone exactly why he’s still a threat. Keep your eyes on this one – it’s got all the makings of a show-stealer.

Exclusive Announcement: Trailblazer Championship Wrestling has given me the green light to break some news ahead of Trailblazer RISE. Unfortunately, Moses the Deliverer has informed Trailblazer management that he will not be able to appear at the event. In his place, stepping up on short notice, is Trailblazer newcomer Zay-K47. This means that Zay-K47 will now face off against none other than Miracle Mike James, a man who’s earned a reputation for being one of the most cunning and underhanded wrestlers on the roster. Seriously, what is it about Mike James that keeps causing his opponents to mysteriously disappear? Whatever the reason, Zay-K47 is walking into a dangerous situation.
To make matters more complicated, James has been in a bit of a rocky spot with his manager Dekin Cane. At Trailblazer Madness, Cane ran out unannounced, against Mike’s wishes, and nearly cost him the match, only to “save the day” by tossing him a foreign object that ultimately secured the win. It’s a relationship teetering on the edge, and you never know what kind of chaos they’ll bring with them to the ring. That said, I saw Zay-K47 in action at another show earlier today, and I was seriously impressed. He’s got legit athleticism, a clear size advantage, and plenty of charisma. He might be the new guy, but don’t count him out – he just might be the one to catch Mike James off guard.

It’s another Trailblazer show, and that means another opportunity to sponsor a Wranglers match – which is exactly what I’ve done for Trailblazer RISE. If anyone can put the likes of Van “Bam” Winkle and the treacherous Kit Sackett in their place, it’s those tough-as-nails boys from Turner, Kansas. Van Bam Winkle has spent the better part of a year and a half making a nuisance of himself – harassing Miss Wendy, stirring up trouble at commentary (specifically Marcus), and even picking a fight with a security guard named Jeff back in March. Now he’s actually wrestling a proper match, which honestly feels like a rare moment of structure in his otherwise chaotic playbook.
And then there’s Kit Sackett, who showed his true colors not long ago by reuniting with his old tag partner and turning his back on the fans. His betrayal was topped off by a cheap shot aimed at commentator Marcus, just like Van Bam before him. With both these guys aligned, you better believe Marcus will have to keep his head on a swivel this Saturday. But here’s the thing: Gardner, Kansas is Wrangler Country. And if anyone can restore order and deliver some frontier justice, it’s the Wranglers.

“The Suplex Cyclone” Curt Gannon is back – and he’s got unfinished business. After suffering an untimely injury just before Trailblazer Revenge, Gannon was forced to sit out what could’ve been a defining championship clash with Austin Mulitalo. But now, after months of rehab and hard training, he’s stepping back into the ring – and his target is none other than Rocco the Barbarian, who won’t be coming alone. Dekin Cane will once again be lurking in his corner, looking to tip the scales.
Longtime Trailblazer fans will remember the last time Gannon faced off with Rocco while Cane was ringside – and how close Cane came to getting suplexed into orbit for interfering one too many times. You better believe the crowd is ready to see history repeat itself… multiple times, if necessary. But this isn’t the same Curt Gannon from 2023. This version comes armed with the Severn Choke, a chip on his shoulder, and a laser focus on reclaiming his spot at the top of the mountain. He’s more dangerous, more determined – and out for blood.

Mark your calendars for more from Trailblazer Championship Wrestling!
