Watching professional wrestlers rise from their humble beginnings to eventually winning championships is incredibly rewarding, especially when you’ve been following their journey for months or even years. One such wrestler I’ve seen take that upward trajectory is none other than… well, I guess he’ll make me say it… “Sexy” Wrex Amadeus. I remember when he was on the receiving end of a brutal beatdown in a tag match, taking the blame for a pinfall loss back in CSW in 2022. Fast forward to 2023, and he’s putting on an absolute banger of a match against “The Monarch” Jeremy Wyatt. Now, he’s holding multiple championships, including the MSW Kansas Championship and the Tri States Wrestling Tag Team Championships.
Love him or hate him, Wrex has been making a real name for himself in the area, and it seems that fans are slowly warming up to the idea of him being one of the faces of multiple companies. His journey has been impressive, and it’s clear he’s earned his spot at the top. I had the pleasure of having a chat with Wrex to get his side of the story on a few topics, including a discussion about his reputation, and why folks are wrong about him, and his upcoming matches at Tri States Wrestling Mayhem in Mooresvile III. I can’t guarantee you’ll come out of this a fan of Wrex, but I think you’ll better understand him when it’s all said and done.
I generally ask a few of the same questions in these sorts of interviews, so don’t be surprised if you’ve seen me repeat a few before. As I build up a format that I like, I figure this makes it fun to compare how different people answer on a few of these.
